Berlin prestigious Gala september, 9th 2009
After the dismantling of the Iron Curtain in the spring and summer of 1989, Hungary decided to open its borders September 10, 1989 for thousands of refugees who would not return to their countries, the GDR.
During the weeks following 57,000 GDR citizens crossed the border Austro-Hungarian to win the FRG.
The wave of refugees continued until the fall of the Berlin Wall.
To commemorate these events, the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Berlin, Mr Dr. Sandor Peisch, organizing this September 9 - at the House of World Culture in Berlin - a great concert with the Budapest Gypsy Symphony Orchestra.
And in the presence of leading politicians as the German President Horst KÖHLER et the Hungarian President László SÓLYOM.

Live recorded in Athens on February 2009 at the Badminton Theatre.
The Orchestra will be in Tunisia on August 2nd and 4th, as guest of the Tunisian Ministry of Culture
They will perform in two unique and famous place
On August 2nd in the EL DJEM Amphitheatre
